History of Jabez Baptist Mission of the Philippines

JABEZ BAPTIST MISSION OF THE PHILIPPINES INC., (JABAMOP) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 13, 2004 as a church located in 359 Diamante St., Deparo 2, Caloocan City.

Since its birth, the Lord has added a church every year and has continued to bless the mission. Although, the churches are not supported by JABAMOP the pastors and workers continued to trust the Lord for their provision.

On January 24 – 26, 2009, the First Pastors and Workers Conference was held at JBC- Diamante. In this conference, the Pastors decided to fulfill the great commission of our Lord through JABAMOP by proclaiming the Good News of salvation in all places. They decided to choose among themselves the Mission Board to take care of the affairs of JABAMOP. The following volunteered to serve as the first Mission Board, Pastor Rolando C. Capili, Chairman, Pastor Ferdinand David. Vice- Chairman, Bro. Ruperto Domingo, Secretary-Treasurer, Pastor Julio Albis and Pastor Larry Demegillo , members. The formulation of policies and procedure shall be done by the Mission Board. Their first meeting was held in April 2009 at JBC-T’boli, Cotabato.
